Review the actual result

Check that the entire item is retained, colors remain accurate, shadows make sense, and transparent or reflective parts have not been removed. A larger canvas cannot restore missing source detail.

Etsy recommends listing photos at least 2000 pixels in width and height. Our square canvas is a starting point: preview different thumbnail crops and retain genuine context photographs. White backgrounds are not a universal Etsy requirement.

Choose a processing mode

Start with free local processing. For fine edges or complex products, try cloud credit packs. Payment is not a guarantee of a perfect cutout.

Authentic photos and transparency

Etsy requires at least one unedited photograph of the actual item against a real background, with some exceptions. Its guidance recommends noting AI edits in the listing description. Never hide flaws or change the apparent product. Transparent PNG display is not supported and transparent areas may appear black, so this studio starts with a white background.

Does this guarantee platform acceptance?

No. A preset does not verify product accuracy, every leftover background pixel or category requirements. Review the actual image.

How do free and cloud modes differ?

Free mode runs locally in your browser. Cloud requires sign-in and permission to upload, and costs one credit per successful image. Review fine edges in both modes.

Can I download a batch?

Yes. Each batch supports up to 20 photos, with individual and ZIP downloads.
